Trigger happy United States.
DETROIT — As a prosecutor showed a jury photos of Renisha McBride, her father rushed out of the court room. The photos of the 19-year-old — first smiling, and then lying lifeless on a porch — were shown in quick succession at the beginning of one of the most highly publicized and racially charged trials of the year. Opening statements began Wednesday in the trial of Theodore Wafer, the 55-year-old Dearborn Heights, Michigan, man charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of McBride. Wafer is accused of shooting her with a shotgun through his locked screen door around 4:40 a.m. on Nov. 2. His attorney seeks to show that he was in fear for his life and shot her in self-defense, while the prosecutor has maintained Wafer had no reason to be fearful, and killed an unarmed, impaired woman. “His actions that night were unnecessary, unjustified and unreasonable,” Assistant Wayne County Prosecutor Danielle Hagaman-Clark said. Defense attorney Cheryl Carpenter said what happened to McBride was “horrible” but that the jury should set aside their feelings and focus on the law. Click through for more. “Lisa Bloom writes in her book,
“On a very dark, rainy night, Trayvon saw through Zimmerman’s body to a gun holstered behind him, concealed inside his pants? Did Trayvon have X-ray vision?”
“What shocked me most of all was that the prosecution had failed raise this point at trial. Not in the opening statement. Not in the questioning of any of their witnesses. Not in cross-examination of defense witnesses.”
“In Albuquerque, NM, on a dark night in a quiet neighborhood, 23 year-old Iraq War Veteran Jonathan Mitchell was shot and killed in March 2013. He was killed by Donnie Pearson. Pearson has not been arrested due to a claim of self-defense.

There is a petition on change.org for the arrest of Donnie Pearson. Click here to sign.”
Jordan Davis’ mom, Lucia MacBath, has teamed up with the parents of Trayvon Martin to repeal the Stand Your Ground law.
“Stand Your Ground” is “Kill at Will” – a sick twist in U.S. law to allow lynching by gun.

“History has proven there is only one way to get the attention of unmovable ideologies to achieve change. Matching and protests are strategies, which is nothing more than a good show for the cameras. For example, the March on Washington and the Million Man March produced little in terms of measurable results. On the other hand, BOYCOTT’s work – the Birmingham Bus Boycott and the Martin Luther King Holiday Boycott on the state of Arizona – WORKED! It is time to stop BS-ing and BOYCOTT FLORIDA and everything connected to it. We will then get change. And that’s my thought provoking perspective…”
