Iowa educator tells mixed-race kids: Blacks are too ‘stupid’ to go to school or live with whites

Two Iowa parents are calling for an educator at Bailey Park Elementary School in Grinnell to be fired for allegedly making racist comments to mixed-race children.
Geoff Burd choked up as he explained to KCCI that his daughter,
Nikki, came home from school and recalled that the para-educator had said black people and white people should not be a family or go to the same school.
“It’s an unbelievable situation,” Burd said, sounding defeated.  “I work very hard to protect her. I have worked her entire life to protect her.”

How Hillary Clinton will go after Bernie Sanders on race

Washington (CNN)Hillary Clinton has been largely hands off when it comes to Bernie Sanders.

But in an interview with a South Carolina Democrat published Monday, the former secretary of state subtly hit her most threatening primary opponent, previewing how she could go after the senator.

The subtle dig came during a July 23 conversation with Jamie Harrison, chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party, about how to deal with racism in the United States and, particularly, the Black Lives Matter movement that has captured the attention of activists across the country.

“This (movement) is fueled in large measure by young people and it is a particular development in the civil rights movement that deserves our support,” Clinton said. “By that I mean, there are some who say, ‘Well racism is a result of economic inequality.’ I don’t believe that.”

The line hits at the main argument pro-Clinton Democrats and Black Lives Matters activists have used against Sanders: The only way he views race issues is through an economic lens.

Black Employees At NYC TGI Friday’s Claim They Were Replaced With Light-Skinned Workers

A group of African-American workers at a Manhattan TGI Friday’s restaurant filed a class-action discrimination suit when they were allegedly replaced by lighter-skinned employees after the eatery moved to a new location, states the New York Daily News.

The lawsuit was filed on Thursday at the Bronx Supreme Court. According to reports, the group of black workers let their feelings be known to the higher-ups about the blatantly racist move, but one manager in particular reportedly informed one of the plaintiffs that his preference was to employ a Hispanic staff because of their diligent work ethic.

“It was their opinion that black people were lazy,” Lisa Baker, 48, a waitress, who spoke to the newspaper, said. “We weren’t even given a chance.”

Law enforcement officials told reporters that Chaney had complied with the deputies’ commands, but that Bartee had “extensive furtive movements,” causing McCarthy to fear for his safety and open fire.
One witness questioned why shots had been fired, saying both of the alleged suspects had been complying with the commands.

 

 

“You could see right in the car. Both of them had their hands up and they still shot at the car,” Ernest Miles Jr., told WKMG, adding that he had to take cover in his second-floor apartment.

I didn’t know an encyclopedia actually used the word ‘savages’ to describe any group of people.

I knew the word ‘savage’ had been common in speech; but in ‘professional’ writing as well!?

Who wants to bet that when you turn to the page on Europeans – it does not describe them as savages even though Europeans have commited savage acts throughout history and up to today.
