Taxpayers Shell Out $100K to Parents After School Cop Tased 14yo Daughter for No Reason

Allentown, PA – The family of a teenage girl was recently granted a $100,000 settlement from their local police department after an officer used his stun gun on the girl for no reason. The incident occurred in 2011, when the girl was 14-years-old while she was attending Dieruff High School.

The settlement was to prevent the family from moving forward with a federal civil rights lawsuit which accused Jason Ammary of using excessive force on the young girl.

According to court documents, the officer was ordering students to clear a street near the school on the day of the attack, but apparently the victim, Keshana Wilson, was not moving fast enough. So, Ammary grabbed her arm from behind and pushed her against a parked car when she instinctively pulled away from him.

As she struggled to get away, Ammary fired his taser directly at her and she collapsed onto the street.

The entire attack was documented by the school’s security cameras, and even the police department could not defend the actions of the officer when the recordings were made public

Appalling Video Shows Cowardly Cop Taser a Non-Violent 74-Year-old Man, Leading to His Death

Deming, NM — 74-year-old Roger Charlet recently died in a hospital just a week after police used a taser on him during a traffic stop. On January 4th, Charlet was pulled over by police on Interstate 10 and was accused of being drunk. He was quickly ripped from his car and tased without being given any chance to comply and leave willingly. Police claim that he was “resisting arrest,” however, the video clearly shows that he was not a threat and had no chance of getting away.

Body Cam Shows the Danger Faced by Innocent Autistic People When Approached by Bully Cops

Instead of attempting to de-escalate the situation with a man, who the officer knew was mentally disabled, he proceeded to grab Pletnikoff when he didn’t answer their questions. Nicholas, most likely not fully understanding the situation due to his disability, exercised a natural human reaction by resisting his kidnapper. Unfortunately, when your would-be attackers wear a badge, there is always a guaranteed escalation of force.
In response to him failing to immediately submit to their authority, officers quickly tackled Nicholas, repeatedly drove his head into the pavement and, after a brief struggle, deemed it necessary to pepper spray the innocent, autistic man.
