U.S. border patrol stabbed a mom and severely injured her two daughters before killing himself. He left one daughter bound in his apartment.
Twenty-seven people have lost their life from U.S. border patrol agents since 2010.

A special agent who replaced a Department of Homeland Investigations-Office of Inspector General supervisor in McAllen testified Monday that he couldn’t believe several agents told him they falsified reports.
I didn’t see in the article what information was falsified.
However, the article goes on to say:
“As part of that process, Green would fill out a file review worksheet and place it with the case file, he testified. The file review worksheet would identify what work had been done on cases and set goals for agents to work toward.
…
In March 2012, when Green was set to conduct his second round of file reviews, he discovered that most of the 100 or so cases were missing the worksheets, which had been there during the first review, he testified.”

A message that was consistently reaffirmed throughout the day was that students in their daily encounters at Oxford are made to feel different and Othered from the Oxford community.Hopefully this project will demonstrate that despite there being a greater number of students of colour studying at Oxford now than there has ever been before, there are still issues that need to be discussed. In participating in ‘I, Too, Am Oxford,’ students of colour are demanding that a discussion on race be taken seriously and that real institutional change occur.”
