New laws in Florida have many educators facing fear and confusion. In the first weeks of school, teachers were asked to take down stickers showing support for LGBTQ students and, in at least one case, to remove rainbow colored paper from a classroom door.

Students at Grapevine High School have staged a walkout. A few days ago, the Grapevile-Colleyville School District voted to essentially ban trans teachers from the classroom, ban the word transgender, pull all lgbtq+ books, and ban pronouns (figure that one out).
