Students at Grapevine High School have staged a walkout. A few days ago, the Grapevile-Colleyville School District voted to essentially ban trans teachers from the classroom, ban the word transgender, pull all lgbtq+ books, and ban pronouns (figure that one out).

Librarians across my state (Missouri) are reporting patrons coming in with lists of books they want to ban or want to judge whether they are “appropriate”. What all these lists have in common is authors or subjects that do with POC or LGBTQ+. The agenda is crystal clear.
