Case of San Diego Father Beaten to Death by Border Agents Advances to Trial

 

San Diego, CA: The district court judge presiding over the civil case involving the family of Anastasio Hernandez Rojas has cleared the way for trial and denied the claims of border agents’ that they are immune from the lawsuit. The federal government filed a motion arguing that the border agents involved in the use of force against Anastasio are immune from civil liability, asserting that their conduct did not violate any constitutional rights. The judge disagreed, dismissed the government’s claim and cleared the way for the civil case to go to trial. Anastasio was a long-time San Diego resident and a father of 5 who was beaten and shot repeatedly with a taser by border agents resulting in his death near the San Ysidro Port of Entry in May 2010.

Discrimination against Indigenous students.

 

As a native woman and student that has attended years of private, public and boarding schools, I have seen my fair share of bullies from all social classes. I have also found that bullying can be from adults towards their students. This situation is one that I have experienced personally as well.

My professor at the time had suggested I should get my learning capabilities tested to determine whether I was a visual learner, a student that focused better via lecture, or if just by reading.

Woman Accused Of Dressing As A Witch And Abusing Child

 

An Oklahoma City grandmother is accused of abusing a 7-year-old girl by dressing as a witch, hanging the child in the garage and beating her with a whip.

Geneva Robinson, 49, reportedly took the child to a hospital, claiming she couldn’t control the girl anymore. But hospital workers say they found signs of abuse. When they asked the girl about what happened, a bizarre story came out.

This Traffic Stop Video Epitomizes Everything that is Wrong With Police Today

 

“We’ll get CPS to take your baby!”

Sandusky, OH — A mother and father were on their way home with their 2 week old baby when they were stopped by Sandusky police officers.

Andre Stockett, the father and the passenger in the vehicle, and the man who took the video, has a good understanding of his rights when dealing with police.

Despite the police pulling over the vehicle, for an alleged “traffic violation,” they do nothing to the driver. Her license is run and it comes back valid so they have nothing on them, yet like bullies on the playground they begin ganging up on Stockett.

Stockett has committed no crime and has not been suspected of committing a crime, so he lawfully refuses to identify himself. This assertion of his rights does not go over well with the bullies on the playground, so Officer Denny throws a temper tantrum.

A Recent Spate of Cops Sexually Assaulting Multiple Women Leads Some To Question Just How Pervasive Such Practices Could Be

 

While the American public obsesses day after day about each and every scandalous act involving an athlete in the NFL, with even the most meticulous data being collected and analysed many times over, they seem to be less concerned about a similar, possibly more widespread, pattern of behavior by officers of the law, the same people entrusted with ensuring public safety and accountability. After several arrests occurred in the past month alone of police officers accused of sexually assaulting, kidnapping, or raping multiple women (four of them in Oklahoma), many observers are quite rightly inquiring about how common such crimes committed by law enforcement officers are. Unfortunately it is rather impossible to say for certain how common sexual assault by cops truly is because there exist no national database from which accurate statistics can be derived. In fact this nation has shown itself particularly inefficient when it comes to tallying or keeping track of any crimes committed by cops, let alone taking the further of holding them accountable. If a national debate can ensue around the issue of domestic battery and criminality in the National Football League, then surely it should be possible to have that same debate regarding issues of rape and sexual abuse in the nation’s police departments.

Brutal: Florida officer tases 62-year-old woman in the back just for the hell of it [VIDEO]

 

After police arrived on the scene of her Tallahassee, Florida, neighborhood, 62-year-old Viola Young asked them why they were there. Told to turn around, Young did so and walked away. While walking away, at just about 2:31 in this video shot by a local resident, the officer brutally uses his stun gun to tase Young in the back. Immediately, she falls flat on her face. It’s brutal.

 

No charges have been brought and the officer is currently on paid leave.

Dad Seeks Answers 2 Years After Woman’s Shooting by Border Patrol [VIDEOS]

 

A man whose daughter was shot and killed by a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Chula Vista two years ago continues to seek answers in her death while advocating the use of body cameras by agents.

 

While holding onto her car, the agent drew his service weapon and fired 10 shots into Tachiquin’s vehicle. She was struck in the right hand, arm, abdomen and chest, and died from bullet wounds to her heart, aorta, lungs and other vital organs, the report confirmed.
