  • Do not point your camera (smartphone) like a gun. Hold it sideways for a wide screen video and at waist height
  • Do not use a fingerprint password. Cops can unlock your phone with your finger.
  • Use app like Mobile Justice to record videos that are uploaded right away, and alert neighbors of event – learn more
  • Use video streaming such as Facebook Live, or YouTube Capture which upload the video right away.

Ohio Cop Refused to Shoot Threatening Murder Suspect

 

New Richmond, Ohio, rookie Police Officer Jesse Kidder has been on the force for a year. A friend gave him a body camera and he was wearing that on Thursday when stopping a suspected murderer. Michael Wilcox has since been charged with killing his fiancee, Courtney Fowler. Wilcox is also under suspicion for the death of his best friend.
