March planned on anniversary of Nogales teen’s shooting

“I think the pain will never go away. I will always be without a piece of life, of my heart,” she said. “But I have three other children for whom I have to live for.”

It’s been nearly two years since 16-year-old  Buenavista José Antonio Elena Rodríguez was shot by a Border Patrol agent who fired through the fence in Nogales, down a steep hill and across the street on the Mexican side. The teen was hit more than 10 times in the back and head.
